OPTICHECK Master

OPTICHECK Master is a handheld for in-depth verification, commissioning and monitoring of KROHNE field devices. It provides the most extensive on-site device verification available on the market. Featuring the highest possible test depth, this essential service tool ensures that process measuring devices perform according to specification. In this way, operators can extend the time between costly re-calibrations of field devices.

Via direct connection to the sensor, electronics and signal outputs, extended tests can be performed without dismounting the measuring device. In only 10 minutes a detailed hard copy verification report can be generated (level 1 verification). Taking only slightly more time, level 2 verification offers the deepest field device verification possible without process interruption. This makes the OPTICHECK Master also the ideal service tool for proof test documentation of safety loops acc. to IEC 61508/61511. This may result in extended proof test intervals or simplifying the actual test procedure of safety loops. It also significantly contributes to improving overall safety levels and plant availability without removing the devices from the process and interrupting plant operation.
